It is an online face anonymizer that runs entirely on your own device. Why we built it
Most tools that promise to blur a face online quietly upload your photo to their servers first. That is the opposite of what you want when the whole point is to protect the person in the picture. We built blurfacephotos.com so that hiding a face never means handing your images to a stranger. Detection and blurring happen in your browser, so the file stays on your device from start to finish.
How it works
The tool uses on-device AI face detection, running as WebAssembly inside your browser, to find every face in a frame. It handles up to five faces at once and, for video, tracks each face across every frame so the effect follows people as they move.
